Crema Production Update
We made 6 batches of Crema this weekend! I’m trying to list them all now. I have really fallen in love with making body butter.
This weekend we made:
- Daffodil
- Soft Parade
- Calistoga
- Chocoatl
- Pineapple Buttercreme
- Tamarind
Calistoga smells like Biolage shampoo, have you ever smelled that? I love it, just for the scent. Too bad that stuff is like $15 a bottle!

We’ve also restocked on a lot of soaps, like Sex Appeal, My Boyfriend’s Tshirt, Sweet Carrot and Earl Grey with Lemon Peel (last time that was in stock was October!)
We watched “Up” this weekend and it was fantastic!! I cried
There is a very sweet short flim at the beginning, too, called Partially Cloudy, that Mike’s friend Pete Sohn wrote and directed. Gotta check it out! I cried at that too. Haha, I am not normally a sap! Mike was commenting how incredible it is that two of his highschool friends wound up working at Pixar and working together on movies — what are the chances of that?
We did not go into the city, darn it — we woke up late, around 11, since we were up late last night (we went for cheeseburgers!). So today we’ll finish wrapping soap and photographing. I made Badedas soap too! It’s very pretty.

That is so cool about Mike’s high school friends! I haven’t smelled Biolage - I’m imaging clean and slightly green? And yummm, cheeseburgers …
Yep! It’s such a great scent, clean and green perfectly captures it. I loved it so much I used to use the conditioner as lotion back in college
Hey Girl! My teen daughters and their friends also went to see “UP”! I sat with my youngest since she said I would not embarrass her because I tend to laugh the loudest when at the movies lol.
Super cool short “Partly Cloudy” — we all loved it!
Take care
Jenese
Hey Jenese! I definitely laughed and I cried way more than I should probably admit!!
Yum. I am so glad you have built this blog–it will be much easier for me to keep track of savor happenings!
mmmmmmmmmmmmm….Chocoatl sounds divine! I just ordered a small bottle of Cocoa absolute and haven’t decided what to do with it yet. It’s so rich that is smells like liquor! It’s not really used for aromatherapy purposes, but I may add it to a lotion or something.
I loved the Graham Cracker fraiche you sent me, too. I’ve got the list running for my next big order!
